Intelligent management of the Espace du Palais shopping center by Redevco in Rouen - 12,000 m²

Background

As part of its carbon plan to reduce its CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030, Redevco European Ventures Rouen wanted to carry out the energy renovation of its Espace du Palais shopping center, located in the heart of Rouen, through an energy management solution. The objective: to meet the regulatory requirements of the Tertiaire and BACS decrees, while maintaining user comfort.

Challenges

The main challenge for Redevco European Ventures Rouen was to choose a solution that would:

✅ Comply with regulatory requirements (Tertiary and BACS decrees)

✅ Efficiently manage HVAC and lighting equipment

✅ Control energy consumption and CO₂ emissions

✅ Class C BMS: installation of a BMS that meets regulatory requirements, with work carried out at night to avoid disrupting site activity

✅ Centralized software: implementation of a single platform for:

  • detection and monitoring of malfunctions to prevent performance deviations
